Honor seems to be in the process of crafting the successor to its Band 7 wearable device, known as the Honor Band 9. A recent sighting on the Bluetooth SIG certification platform has indicated that the Honor Band 9 is on the verge of its official launch, also disclosing some key details regarding its specifications.

As reported by Gizmochina, the Honor Band 9 model has surfaced on the Bluetooth SIG certification platform under two distinct model numbers, namely RHE-B39 and RHE-B19. Essentially, this indicates the existence of two smart band variants, hinting at potential differences in screen size or specifications.

The sighting also confirms the inclusion of Bluetooth 5.3 support in the Band 9. However, specific details about the wearable device, such as its internal specifications, remain undisclosed within the certification database.

Moreover, this marks the first online appearance of the Honor Band 9, suggesting that it will likely make more appearances on other certification platforms shortly.

As a reminder, the Band 7, released in 2022, featured a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with a curved 2.5D screen. It supported 96 sports modes, blood oxygen monitoring, heart rate tracking, and sleep mapping.

The wearable device boasted Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and a 5ATM water resistance rating. In terms of battery life, the Band 7 offered up to 14 days of usage on a single charge.

Honor has not made any official announcements regarding the Band 9. However, further details are expected to surface soon. Stay tuned for more updates on this device.
