Renowned tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has revealed that Honor is currently in the process of developing a new 5G-enabled tablet tailored for the Chinese market.

According to leaks disclosed by DCS and cited by Gizmochina, this 5G-supported Honor tablet will be an entry-level model featuring a Snapdragon chipset.

The device is expected to boast a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and eye protection support. Although the battery size has not been specified, leaks suggest that the tablet will support 35W fast charging.

DCS added that Honor is also working on a flagship tablet with satellite connectivity support. Unfortunately, the marketing name for this device has not been disclosed.

Honor is recognized for launching tablets under the branding of Pad and Pad X. In December 2023, the company announced the Honor Pad 9, powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 in China. The device, also known as the Honor Tablet 9, lacks cellular connectivity.

In July 2023, the company unveiled the Honor Pad X9, equipped with the Snapdragon 685 chipset in China. This tablet is also available globally in Wi-Fi-only and LTE versions.

There’s a possibility that the entry-level 5G tablet discussed by the leaker could be the successor to the Pad X9. Therefore, it’s highly likely that the tablet might be dubbed the Honor Pad X10 upon its market debut.
